Planisphere's debut EP "Porphyrogen", released in 2011, developed stepwise and open minded. Combining improvised musical parts and structures the 5 songs of the EP arose naturally and thus were put on the record. Without professional training in recording processes and without expensive equipment the songs were recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselve. All tracks have a close connection to the emotional feeling Planisphere gets confronted with in live situations.
